Heavy Lift Gantry Crane

CP&A was retained to provide a cursory design review of the overall crane stability and thin panel buckling of the girder. Additionally CP&A investigated the main hoist rope system and to provide recommendations during crane commissioning.

At the time of construction this was the largest ever bridge crane, with a maximum joint capacity of 20,000 tons. Tested with full load at Yantai Raffles Shipyard, China.
