Custom Stacker Cranes

CP&A designed a replacement trolley, mast, platform for an aerospace manufacturer. There are 4 axis of motion, bridge, trolley, hoist and rotate. Platform operates in a class 1 div 1 hazardous zone. The platform is rated for personnel hoisting and supplies breathable air to the workers on the platform. Project was performed on under a design-bid-build contract.

CP&A provided complete mechanical and structural design services including; 3-D solid models of the stacker, structural analysis, mechanical component selection, design level drawings, engineering support and services related to fabrication, assembly, commissioning, and installation. CP&A provided the O&M manual and trained the maintenance staff.
