Early Career Structural Designer

Job Description:
Full time employee. Responsibilities include assisting lead engineers with the design and review of structures from concept through construction. Technical responsibilities include, but are not limited to; sizing of structural members, designing connections, finite element analysis and creating drawings. This position will receive training and mentorship from experienced and licensed professional engineers. Will work on a variety of projects.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science from ABET accredited University

3.2 Cumulative GPA or better

E.I.T. Certification
-
Exposure to Finite Element Analysis

Drafting Skills
-
Knowledge of AISC Steel Construction Manual.

Must be able to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Work Experience

Experience working with Engineering Software

SAP2000

AutoCAD/Inventor/Solidworks

Knowledge of ASCE 7-16

Knowledge of AISC-360

Programming skills (C#, VBA, etc.)

Experience analyzing bolted and welded connections.
