Graduating Civil Structural Engineering Student Application

Job Description:

Full time employee. Responsibilities include assisting lead engineers with the design and review of structures from concept through construction. Technical responsibilities include, but are not limited to; sizing of structural members, designing connections, finite element analysis and creating drawings. This position will receive training and mentorship from experienced and licensed professional engineers. Will work on a variety of projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science from ABET accredited University

  • 3.2 Cumulative GPA or better

  • E.I.T. Certification

  • Exposure to Finite Element Analysis

  • Drafting Skills

  • Knowledge of AISC Steel Construction Manual.

  • Must be able to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Not Required but will help candidates stand out

  • Master of Science or Master of Engineering with emphasis in Structures

  • Work Experience

  • Experience working with Engineering Software

    • SAP2000

    • AutoCAD/Inventor/Solidworks

  • Knowledge of ASCE 7-16

  • Knowledge of AISC-360

  • Programming skills (C#, VBA, etc.)

  • Experience analyzing bolted and welded connections.
