The 600t stiff leg derrick Columbia Giant relocated to Charleston, SC. We were retained to reevaluate the crane capacity and to develop a new load chart based on the specified design codes. We also designed the new crane foundation, the concrete dead-man, and the backstay support structure. We developed the overload testing scheme and witnessed the load tests. The calculation packages and detail engineering drawings were provided to our clients.
