CP&A was retained by Massachusetts Port Authority to design a 20' raise for two low profile
shuttle boom cranes with an erection procedure that permitted the cranes
to go back in service when needed by MPA's shipping lines, so the Port did not have to take the cranes out of
service.
CP&A designed modifications for existing cranes, and crane jacking
scheme to accomplish crane modifications with zero out-of-service time.
